Queue
6 channels connectedBehind the build of Rudda — swipe for the first icon studies.
A thread on why you should self-host your own scheduler.
Your whole schedule, in your hand
Rudda talks straight to the public API of the instance you host. Everything you'd open a laptop for — composing, queueing, checking what shipped — done from the couch.
Compose once, cross-post everywhere
Write a single post, pick the channels it goes out on, and Rudda fans it across every connected network — from X and LinkedIn to the fediverse.
A queue you can read at a glance
Posts grouped by day, each showing its channels, time, and state — so you always know what shipped and what's still queued.
Find the next open slot
Not sure when to post? Rudda asks your instance for the next free time and drops it straight into the composer.
Every channel, one screen
See every channel you've connected at a glance, and spot any that have dropped before your next post goes out.
Draft, schedule, delete
Save an idea as a draft, schedule it for later, or swipe it away. Fast, native gestures — no page reloads.
Point it at your instance and go
No sign-up, no cloud in the middle. Rudda connects directly to the Postiz instance you already run.
Add your server
Paste the URL of your self-hosted instance. Rudda calls its public API and nothing else.
Paste your API key
Grab a key from Settings → Developers. It's stored in the iOS Keychain / Android Keystore — never in plain text.
Steer from anywhere
Your channels and queue load instantly. Compose, schedule, and check what shipped — all from your phone.
Two apps, both truly native
Rudda isn't a web view in a wrapper. It's written twice — Swift on iOS, Kotlin on Android — so each one feels exactly like it belongs on your device.
iOS
Built in SwiftUI with native gestures, the system Keychain for your key, and a design tuned to feel at home on iPhone.
Android
Built in Jetpack Compose with Material motion, the Android Keystore, and dynamic day/night theming from the same design tokens.
Self-hosted, all the way down
Rudda has no backend of its own. It's a thin, honest client — every request goes from your phone straight to the server you own.
- No middleman. No Rudda account, no relay server, no analytics phoning home.
- Your key, on your device. Held in the platform secure store, sent only to your instance.
- Works on your own network. Point it at a VPN, Tailscale, or a public domain — your call.
Good to know
What is Postiz?
Postiz is an open-source, self-hostable social media scheduling tool. If you run your own instance to queue and cross-post content, Rudda is the app that lets you manage it from your phone.
Do I need my own instance?
Yes. Rudda is a client, not a service — it connects to a Postiz instance you host yourself. You'll need its URL and a public API key, both of which take a minute to set up.
Is Rudda made by the Postiz team?
No. Rudda is an independent app built by a third party. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Postiz or Gitroom. It simply speaks their public API.
Where is my API key stored?
On your device only — in the iOS Keychain or the Android Keystore. It's never written to plain text and never sent anywhere except your own instance.
When can I get it?
Both apps are in active development and heading to the App Store and Google Play. Follow @rudda to hear when the beta opens.
Take the helm.
Bring your self-hosted queue with you. Rudda is coming to iOS and Android.
